What is Yoga Therapy?

The yoga therapist can teach yoga for exercise but goes way beyond this skill. They tailor yoga techniques and the 8 yoga limbs to design your individualized therapy program specifically meeting your needs and goals.  We will conduct assessments, develop practice interventions, and educate/support you to develop a customized wellness practice to meet your goals. Therapists help you reduce and manage symptoms, improve function, adjust attitude in relation to health and/or living conditions and make necessary changes to maximize the health of your whole being.
